My Germans are here!!!!

Hiya Girls!!!!

Sorry,havnt had time to post or read much this week,my two german exchange students arrived last weekend!!!And they are just gorgeous!!!!A boy Max and girl Eva,they are so lovely and friendly and helpful!!!!We are having a great time,been out every day after school and we are one big busy household!! It is a shock going from 2 to 4 kids,but i am getting used to it.........more washing.....more cooking....no peace and quiet in the bathroom!Tonight i have 5 of them here,a school friend and his german are here watching the footy as well,so i have vacated the lounge over run with noisy kids!
Had a great night on Tuesday,went to the pink concert which was fabulous.Had dinner first at a vietnamese restaurant with my friend Kaz,then onto the concert which was amazing.She is even better live and the backgrounds and costumes were divine.So much to look at!!!And she can swing upside down on a trapeze and still sing!!!
Anyway,its late and i have to get up early for the markets,so will pop back in later and finish catching up on everyones news!And some pics of my new loungeroom curtains that i spent several days making(never again) curtains are so boring,give me teh small stuff anyday!!

Busy week with school holidays!!!

Hi girls,

Been a hectic week at home with kids here for holidays!!! Its so hard to get anything done and i just seem to spend my time cleaning!!! Did manage a bit of sewing and listing though!!! Have a look on ebay if you like!! I also included some pics of my 2 beautiful siamese boys,they always tend to sleep on top of each other,but this time they were crammed onto Daisys little chair in her room above teh heating vent! Looks very uncomfortable,but they seem happy! Well the one on top does anyway!!!
Went to the movies and saw Bruno on Wednesday,i must say,dont take your mother or your children under 18!!!! There were some very funny bits,mostly wrong bits and a very very cringeworthy pants wetting gay sex scene with Milli Vanillis ghost!!! No where near as good as Borat,no storyline whatsoever,just lots of gross scenes for teh sake of it.I'd give it a 4/10.
We get our 2 German exchange students this weekend,really looking forward to that!!! They sound lovely and not a bit like my recent guest from Hell.I am still recovering from that!!!
Anyway,hope everyone has been well,i am back to the house cleaning before they arrive,and hopefully a bit of cooking,i have some new recipes i want to try,have to get used to cooking for 6 people now!!!

Daisys new room!!!!

Hi guys,

Finally catching up on blogland!!! Have been so hectic all week,so many parcels to post and kids to keep entertained on school holidays and if that wasnt enough Daisy decided she desperately wanted her bedroom painted because she hates pink.Thanks Sheridan,its all your fault because she saw your new bedroom!!!!
Soooo,i chose a lovely colour called april showers that my friend Kim has used and i loved it!!Thanks Kim!!!!
So yesterday and today i have washed walls,cleaned crap from out under beds,moved furniture and finally painted!!!!All finished and i moved everything back in today and madam loves it!!Sorry photos are blurry,someone changed teh ISO setting on my camera without telling me!Thanks Ryan! by the time i realised i couldnt be bothered redoing photos!!

Anyway,i still have so much to catch up on and blogs to read and emails to answer but tonight i am going to bed,so maybe tomorrow!!!

away skiing

Hi Girls,

Sorry its been a while since i last posted,have been hectic catching up on things since my visitor from hell left and the last week we have been on holidays at Falls Creek skiing,so this is my first chance to get on the computer!! We get home in a few days so will post lots of new pics,catch up on emails and chat to everyone!!!I am very sore and sorry for myself,the old legs are not what they used to be!! The snow is fantastic though,we are about to go up and have an afternoon session as this morning has been a bit foggy!! (hence sitting at an internet cafe catching up on emails!!) The kids are having a great time and doing really well,Daisy is quite the snowbunny!!Anyway,better head off,Dave will be waiting for me and probably getting quite grumpy!!

This weeks sewing projects

Hi ladies!!!

Finally had a chance to do some sewing this week,boy have i missed it!I have so many orders on the go to catch up with!
I have been playing around with my French fabrics and doing a bit of a red theme!!
Here are this weeks ebay offerings that i have just typed up to list!I am going to try an do some themed listings,next one is beach chic!!! I love washed out blues and whites!
I am going away next weekend for a week,skiing to Falls creek,we are staying at Tawonga South,so will take plenty of sewing and jewellery projects to keep me busy!And lots of rubbish dvds and some great crime books!josephine,will have to try that new Mo Hayder!!!!

Off upstairs shortly to watch my weekly weepy session on find my family!

The visitor from HELL !!!!

Hi girls,

I just havnt found the time to post anything much,been busy with my visitor from Hell who thank god only has 6 more days!!!
Have you ever had anyone come to stay that does NOTHING,stays in their pajamas all day unless you take them out,gets up at midday,waits to be served every meal and be cleaned up after,wont do anything around the house and expects you to pay for absolutely everything and wont even pretend to offer!!!Disappears when it is time to do the dishes,sits on facebook all day in front of the tv,and watches as you struggle to bring in 10 bags of shopping from the car!No thanks yous for anything and no interest in any place you take her! Appears out of her room at 6pm on the dot asking where dinner is but no attempst to help!

Well,i am so over it and counting down the days until my life gets back to normal!!
Sorry for the rant,I HAVE HAD ENOUGH !!!
Next post will be happier!!!

Back from Sydney

Hi girls!!!

Finally a few minutes to sit down at the computer!!! Had a few days 2 weeks ago along the coast visiting the outlaws and showing Sukie around some of our beautiful sights including the 12 apostles,triplet falls,Lavers Hill and then last week we spent a week in Sydney!!! had some great and not so great weather,but had a fabulous time!!! Visited the set of the Morning show and met Larry and Kylie,they were very nice!Cruised around the harbour,day trip to Manly and Paddington and stayed with my cousin for a few days in Balmain East.Also cuaght uo with my lovely friend Josephine and little Daisy!Hows that hey,big Daisy and little Daisy!They had a nice play chasing the Ibis's in Hyde Park and big Daisy had quite a fascination with the appendage on one of the statues in the fountain.So much so,she had to take a photo!!!With zoom!Well it needed it actually!
Had dinner with an old school friend in Darling Harbour,he was also in Sydney for the week!Darling harbour is beautiful at night!
Had the most divine lunch at a very fancy pattiserie in Balmain called Adriano Zumbo who do the best hot chocolates in the world.No joke!! And probably the most expensive too!
My other fave is a little cafe in Manly called ingredients,they do great salads and toasted wraps and cakes.I think my whole trip revolved around food!And unfortunately as i had Daisy with me as well it involved Mc Donalds.She still prefers a happy meal over a nice toasted sandwich!Gross.
Anyway,i am about to finish up and go upstairs to watch deperate housewives.
Will try and do a decent post tomorrow and answer some emails!
